Kansas' top court rejects 2 anti-abortion laws, bolstering state right to abortion access

Read the thread. Already explained.

I give up. Your explanation make no sense to me. Bottom line is that states had the same right to rule on late term abortions when Roe v Wade was in effect just as they do now.

In other words they just made it up, their state constitution does not cover abortion. They are just repeating what old corrupt immoral SCOTUS used to do. If the current SCOTUS has any balls, they will overrule this, making it clear that states will need to pass clear amendments to their constitution if they want to allow abortion, instead of vague interpretations of them.

The voters of the state made their wishes apparent, but leftwing radicals hate following the will of the people.
Limiting the authority of the state is a victory for individual liberty.

Defeating the authoritarian right’s efforts to increase the power of the state is likewise a victory for individual liberty.

4 of the 6 justices on the Kansas SC are Democrats. What you are saying is that Democrats with power with do evil things. I agree and the same thing will happen if Democrats gain control of the US SC.

None of this happens without RvW being overturned.

It’s “authoritarian” to prevent the murder of innocent life?

It's in the hands of the voters in the state, where everyone wanted it to be.
Not anymore, as is the case with Kansas. The voters passed laws to impose limits on abortion, and radical lunatic judges are making legislation from the bench.

I live in Kansas, that's not what happened.

Not only some restrictions but also keep access to it available with the restrictions. A total ban just isn't what the voters want. Thankfully less young people are wanting to have kids so the issue may very well go away on its own if alot less babies are conceived in the first place. It's not a responsibility nor duty to have children.

The voters passed a constitutional amendment to make abortion a right, and overturn the laws they NEVER WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!

The only issue is that it isn’t within the federal government’s authority, which is exactly what it was justly overturned.

For those who were actually pro-life it isn't the only issue.

This proves NOTHING of the kind. How many women DIED in the state BEFORE the Constitutional protection was enacted????
There's virtually no difference between now and the Roe v Wade days. This is a non topic. But of course you alarmists have your exaggerated horror stories about how this one died or that one was sterilized because they had to drive 60 miles for a procedure. Hell, I drove 400 miles for a heart valve, 200 miles to get my prostate removed and 90 miles twice to have carpal tunnel procedures. Why don't you just plan a little and get over all this self pity and your love of being a victim. MAGA

Ok, good. That is their right as a state. What is your problem?
