"Real Time" host Bill Maher called out former Vice President Kamala Harris' book during his HBO show and suggested a new title for the former Democratic presidential nominee's account of the 2024 campaign.
"Kamala Harris’s new memoir of the '24 election is called ‘107 Days,’ but should have been called ‘Everyone Sucks but Me,'"
Van Jones, CNN commentator and former Obama advisor, laughed along — because even liberals can’t pretend this book isn’t a cringe-fest.
A little surprised Maher came up with this, even more surprised it got a laugh out of Van Jones.

Pardon the pun, America dodged a bullet not electing Harris, what a disaster she was/is. She's still in cloud Cuckoo land and her deranged supports, just like Obama's, will buy her book.
The thread is about Harris. Why not use your TDS skills and set up a Trump thread, he is living in your head rent free. Do you think Harris would have carried on the dismal shit show that her and dementia boy created?Uh, guy, we dodged a bullet by throwing ourselves onto an orange fecal grenade.
We have impending recessions, riots in the streets, and you think things are better somehow?

17 and 1.
Glad to see you recognised it as a shit show.Sure. She wouldn't have disrupted the global economy with an unnecessary trade war.
She wouldn't have disrupted the labor market by deporting hundreds of thousands of crucial agricultural and construction workers
She wouldn't have bumped up unemployment by letting some College kids fire thousands of necessary government workers.
So that's three things right there that are causing, as you say, the Shit Show, that we could have avoided if this country hadn't been so racist and misogynistic.
Now, all that said, I'm disappointed by her book, she seems to be blaming everyone else instead of taking personal responsibility.
Glad to see you recognised it as a shit show.
No, Biden inherited COVID, just like many countries, and just like those countries, Biden and Harris fucked it up.Not sure where you get that... but never mind.
Yes, Biden inherited a shit show from Trump.
It was less of a shit show when he left.
It'll be more of a shit show when Trump leaves. But AMerica was too racist and misogynistic to elect Kamala, so we kind of deserve what we get.
Is it a trade war when we simply apply tariffs on products made in countries that already apply tariffs to American products? I've always been for free trade, but free trade ios only possible when both sides use the same rules. It isn't free trade for Japan to apply a ton of "necessary" modifications to any American car sold there while we allow Japanese carts to be sold right off the boat? Is it free trade when a country applies a twenty or fifty percent tariff on American goods when no tariff is applied to their goods? I don't think so.Sure. She wouldn't have disrupted the global economy with an unnecessary trade war.

You need to get Trump out of your system, your mental state of mind is not doing so well with him living in there.

Lots of hyperbole there .. If being unique makes the Electoral College flawed, then I suppose the Constitution is flawed too — yet somehow it’s held up better than your argument. The Electoral College is garbage. How do we know it's garbage? No other country has anything like it. Even countries like the Philippines, where we set up their governments.
That a bunch of slave rapists 250 years ago thought it was a good idea doesn't mean all that much. It was a bad idea then, and it's a bad idea now.
Goto a relevent Trump and Biden thread, this one is about crazy cackle Harris.Um, Trump is the guy who told people to inject bleach and horse dewormer.
Biden is the guy who got the problem solved.
Trump is slowly destroying this country, a country i dedicated 11 years of my life to protecting. You don't even live in this country.

Single mothers are the main cause of poverty. One income isnt enough. Then we have no father. So when we look at the process it still fall on single mothers. It seems to be too complicated for youWe have crime because we have poverty. Blacks have a higher poverty rate, so they have a higher crime rate.
This isn't complicated. Well, for you, maybe.
Harris lost because she was a failure and couldnt articulate a thought. Shes the poster girl for DEIOh, the Constitution is horrifically flawed. It's why we have to keep going back and amending it.
But my point remains, if the EC were a good idea, in any way, shape or form, other countries would have adopted it.
Not a one has. Even when we set up a clone government in the Philippines, the one thing we didn't do to the Filipinos is saddle them with an Electoral College.
So instead of just pointing out why it's bad because of the rest of the world's avoidance, let's review, shall we?
First, it allows people to become president after the populace has rejected them. These Presidents usually turn out to be the worst- Trump, Bush jr., and of course, RutherFRAUD B. Hayes. (Seriously, if you want to know why race relations suck so much in this country, you should look up what Hayes did. Basically, he surrendered all the gains of the Civil War.)
Secondly, it limits the election to a few swing states. 43 States were a forgone conclusion in this last election; it really came down to about seven of them.
Thirdly, it makes it nearly impossible for a third party to gain any traction. Every year, we complain about the "Lesser of two evils" and how the two-party system sucks, but the few times that a third party actually looks like it might make some gains, it is quickly strangled in the EC.
Fourth, it sets up this nightmare scenario where the election could be tossed into the courts (like it was in 2000) or Congress (like it was in 1824) or worst of all, a "Special Commission" like it was in 1876. You know, instead of a simple metric like, "Who got the most votes.
Now, it might well be that without the EC, Harris still would have lost the Popular Vote. Or she might not have, because if people in NY, IL, and CA had their votes count, they might have bothered to show up.

The Constitution has been amended SIXTEEN TIMES in two hundred thirty-eight years and two of them cancelled each other out (prohibition). So, fourteen times. Show me any human designed system that has endured 238 years with only fourteen changes.Oh, the Constitution is horrifically flawed. It's why we have to keep going back and amending it.

Bullcrap. Poverty exists in countries that have no minorities in them. There was massive poverty in Japan throughout its history and Japan was as close to a homogenous society as has ever existed. There has always been poverty and always will be poverty unless you can magically create a Star Trek universe where every human need can be created out of nothing. Poverty is also relative, the "poor" in the USA live a solidly middle-class lifestyle compared to most of the rest of the world.Institutionalized racism is the main cause of poverty.
You don't seem so upset about white single mothers who fathers ran off on them.
As opposed to Trump, who is the poster boy for White Privilege. Man declares bankruptcy six times and is still considered a business genius.
