Kamala Harris Wants Disaster Aid Given Based on 'Equity' (and It's Unconstitutional)

How many idiotic things does Harris have to do before she's overwhelmingly considered an imbecile

No. Equity is good! MAGA promotes REAL equity. Everybody regardless of ethnicity, skin color, occupation, financial situation, political party, or any other criteria should be treated 100% equally by the federal government. The ONLY time the federal government should treat any group differently is if a government policy impacts that group negatively due to no fault of that group. For instance, if Trump's tariffs on Chinese products intended to make China deal with us honestly and fairly negatively impacts farmers, then farmers should receive some or all of those tariffs which was the case in his first term.

And before the trolls start attacking Trump, Biden has kept those tariffs in place and in fact recently increased some of them. I don't think he gives the tariffs receipts to those hurt by tariffs though but most likely squanders it like all the other money on things that improve American lives little or not at all.

If you don't have home insurance whose fault is that?

I gave a bad example, using people with insurance and people without... as if it were a choice to have insurance or not...which it isn't always...

Regardless of my bad example....

The govt isn't going to go around and give all citizens, the exact same equal "thing"....

The people or communities that were worst hit will get more help than the people and communities who were less hit....and the less hit, will get more than communities with no damage....

and I would imagine the community with no means to repair it, will get more than communities that do have the capabilities...the help is not given equally to all....because the government can't afford to help everyone equally...money and help is limited so those who need help most will be helped first and the most.

And yeah, that can suck....depending on your own circumstance!
