Kamala Harris is proving to be a very disappointing Vice President for the Democrats. She has yet to prove she has what it takes to be the rock star many on the Left hoped she’d be. And the hits just keep coming for Kamala Harris and this time it’s from her own Party.
After her disastrous handling of the crisis at the southern border, Kamala Harris seemed to go into hiding. She continues to fumble interviews, and has suffered more public missteps than most Vice Presidents have seen in their entire term.
Now Harris is being humiliated by some in her own party. CNN recently published a story that claimed Joe Biden’s team has given up all hope that Kamala Harris could ever be an effective Vice President.
“Worn out by what they see as entrenched dysfunction and lack of focus, key West Wing aides have largely thrown up their hands at Vice President Kamala Harris and her staff — deciding there simply isn’t time to deal with them right now, especially at a moment when President Joe Biden faces quickly multiplying legislative and political concerns,” the story stated.
Joe Biden’s approval rating continues to tank and his team knows that Harris’ disastrous first year as Vice President is only adding to it. So, of course, they want her out of the picture. Harris is seen as a weak candidate and many are scratching their heads as to why she was ever even considered for the Vice President slot.
There is no way Harris matches up to Donald Trump in 2024, should Biden choose not to seek a second term. The rumors that swirled early on in the Biden term were that Harris was being groomed to step in, when Joe Biden inevitably couldn’t continue to lead, given his declining mental state.
It looks like those rumors can be put to rest because even the Left now realizes that Kamala Harris is an incredibly poor leader. All her laughing, hasn't helped, and is now generally seen as a poor deflection for her inability to face the country's problems, and to know what to say or do about them.
