Okay, let's not get hysterical here.
If the new breed graduating college is more receptive to the message of a guy like Bernie, then we have no one to blame but ourselves. We've essentially turned these kids into indentured servants to get the basic ticket into the middle class.
When I went to UIC back in the 1980's, tuition was $1500 a year, or you could pay for it working a min wage job 10 hours a week. Today, UIC costs $20,000 a year to go to. You could work 40 hours a week at min wage and not pay for it.
I personally don't care for Bernie, I think he goes too far in some areas, but man, after 27 years of working for abusive companies, I can definitely see the appeal.
