I understand the cult of Rush completely. I listened to him periodically from the time he made it on to the national spotlight in 1988 all the way until about six months into Clinton's term. He is the OG right wing talk radio host. OG stands for "original gaslighter"

His audience is literally about a THIRD of all those in the country old enough to be eligible to vote! And since many don't vote, an even LARGER segment of the voting population! Something like 127 million voted last time around. If all of Rush's listeners vote, that is about 55% of all voters! And if they keep listening, then what Rush says must have a ring of truth to it!

I will never be voting Democrat and I haven't listened to Rush in about a DECADE. That makes the subgroup of people not willing to vote for Biden even larger still.
