Just a thought. Conservatives are against abortion, but China has legal abortion, and the government will provide it as a service. A couple hundred million have been aborted in China since this policy was enacted. Why aren't conservatives protesting China's abortion policy outside of Walmart stores, a company that's known as Chinamart? On the contrary, conservatives on this board are usually staunch defenders of Walmart, especially when some people criticize them for their low wage/benefit policy towards their workers.

I'm really not seeing how you can get much tougher than the Communists did in Romania, where they had pretty severe penalties, but people did it anyway. Then they got totally fed up with their commie dictator and shot him.

Also, can't see how suggesting doctors ask about guns in the house as a risk factor really changes all that much.

It doesn't ban guns or confiscate guns.

Heck, if you want to go there, Chicago has banned guns since the 1980's, and we still have plenty.
