How did she get in?"How she was dead"? I don't get what you're saying here.
I agree, she shouldn’t have, but she did, that doesn’t mean that the first option is to kill her. Here is a thought, how about she not try to break in.
Speaking of thinking, Chauvin killed someone name Bryd? Robert Byrd? The former grand wizard of the KKK?You should give up thinking.
Byrd got a medal...Chauvain got 20 years climbing the walls.
Byrd uses a cell phone...Chauvain uses the phone in his cell
Byrd eats off of a dinner plate...Chauvain makes license plates
Byrd dropped some justice on Babbitt...Chauvain is afraid to drop the soap
You said "sympathy for delusional whack-jobs". I doubt that's why they didn't shoot anyone else. Why not? Capitol police are people too.
According to the video, the shot prevented her from getting in.How did she get in?
You are an apologist for the police state. Was good poster DGS49 in that lobby at that time?
If he was....which side of the breached-barricade door was he on?
I ask because......it makes a difference.
I ask because the situation on the police side of that barrier was dire....and dangerous. The imminent peril was clear.
The police had been hearing in their earpieces that their colleagues were being savagely beaten downstairs and on the Capitol steps. The police had "lost the line" of defense and violent attackers were now streaming into the Capitol building.
Which brings us to now dead Babbitt. She was an active and vehemently vocal participant with the violent mob. She encouraged them in the violent breaching of that door while she screamed at police on the other side.
And when the breach opened wide enough for her to charge through. She did.
She did. Despite being warned to 'leave', to back away, to do not enter. And crucially being warned that a police pistol was being brandished as a warning. She charged through the breach anyway,. Babbitt as the tip-of-the-spear. The point-man of the violent mob hellbent on attacking America's elected representatives.
Poor dead Babbitt. May her family find peace. And peace from rightwing nutjobs regularly dragging her bloody corpse across whiney MAGA snowflake chatrooms.
IMHO
-----------------------------------------------------------------
And it also saved.....and Babbitt get so little credit for it.....but it also saved other violent insurrectionist who she was leading through the breached opening. Meaning, more of them could have been rightfully shot as they too leaped into the breach towards the guarding police and the vulnerable Representatives.
She fell bleeding. And the insurrectionists lost heart and retreated.
A good shoot.
Have you ever been in that situationI agree, she shouldn’t have, but she did, that doesn’t mean that the first option is to kill her.
There were other options he could have done first.
You are an apologist for the police state.
The many burly cops present could have easily arrested this unarmed woman who never threatened anyone.
No reason to kill Babbitt. The cop who killed her was a coward.
Can a leftist explain why this shooting was not justified?

I don't. Only true sickos want to shoot people. Especially ones who have been lied to and incited into action by lunatics. You said "sympathy for delusional whack-jobs". I doubt that's why they didn't shoot anyone else.
Nope, but then I’m not a trained police officer either.Have you ever been in that situation![]()
We see so called trained police officer killing folks all the time. Was the officer who murdered Sonya Massy trained?Nope, but then I’m not a trained police officer either.
The only person doing the shooting that day was an officer and the "delusional whacko" he shot was unarmed. So how is this assessment relevant?I don't. Only true sickos want to shoot people. Especially ones who have been lied to and incited into action by lunatics.
The criminal was part of an armed insurrectionist mob baying for congressional blood. The only person doing the shooting that day was an officer and the "delusional whacko" he shot was unarmed. So how is this assessment relevant?
Really? When will you place the police who escorted these peaceful protesters into the building under arrest? The criminal was part of an armed insurrectionist mob baying for congressional blood.
You kids are lucky it was only one.
Perhaps. But that brings us back to the original question: Why only one?The criminal was part of an armed insurrectionist mob baying for congressional blood.
You kids are lucky it was only one.
Don't be stupider than you have to be kid.Really? When will you place the police who escorted these peaceful protesters into the building under arrest?
You'd have to ask them. I already gave my opinion. Maybe you could read the thread for a change.Perhaps. But that brings us back to the original question: Why only one?
