We see them everywhere. The networks call upon them for their “expert advice and opinion” for what to expect from the candidates, voters, and the political parties. And just how much should we believe?
Almost every one of them is either a “former” or associated with something that makes them an expert – meaning they know a whole lot more than we do.
So?
As with so many pollsters, they are clearly in the pockets of some group or groups. How many polls have been right in recent years? And now they're even admitting how hard it is to get a “representative panel” upon which to base their “expert” guesses. And, I wonder if the networks pay them for their commentaries. Anyone know?
