The markets can go up and down in a short period, whereas inflation takes time to change. FYI, inflation is down.

Why not? It was accurate in the 1980s, and again in the Bush crash of 2008-2009. I did my part and lived with it in the Reagan years. I did it your way for 7 months during the Bush crash, losing $5,000 a month, while factories/ businesses closed around here,(including the one I worked at) not counting the original huge loss, while on vacation the week the crash started. I could not in good conscience advise anybody in a non-secure position to ignore it. The market is just reflecting the fundamental position the business depends more on stability, than presidential control of foreign markets. I do not even remember that being taught in any classes, I took.

MAGA, under Trump's influence has simply forgotten what is important, favoring it's class warfare, over economics and prosperity, commitments to allies, leadership position in the world, the balance of three branches of government that has made us great.

It gets frustrating.

I think that MAGA has several perfectly legitimate concerns and grievances. I agree with many of them. What I don't understand is why they have to address them by mocking, insulting and attacking our (former) friends and allies, why they have to attach themselves to stupid conspiracy theories and an alternate reality, and why they have to isolate America from the rest of the world.

They don't have to behave like this. So I have to assume that this is the only way they know HOW to behave. And if they fuck this all up, and the hardcore Left comes back in -- which I don't want to see -- MAGA will NO ONE to blame but themselves.
