Mother Nature really fucked up when the genetic changes that caused Homo Habilis to branch out occurred. We need another ELE asteroid to reset the planet.

Or, we could blame Ego or a "Satan" for having far too much control over our thoughts and motivations?

The danger with that approach though is that we might face the possibility that if a Satan is real, perhaps we are opening up ourselves to that "Satan" through various errors we make in how we use our time and energy?
