Jesse was trying to instigate a little race war, much like we saw happen in places like Fergusen where a city burned and people were murdered. I would compare it to attempted murder along with trying to bitterly divide the country, something I think the Obama's endorse as well.

If you remember, Obama kept feeding into the notion that law enforcement was systemically racist, even when white police officers were being assassinated around the country indiscriminately. He was more than happy to feed into the hate and the murders, all for political gain. Meanwhile, Obama refused to utter the term "Islamic terrorism" so that people would not take their rage out on innocent Muslims who had nothing to do with the Islamic terror.

I've always felt "Hispanic" was an artificial racial designation. It can be used to describe Europeans, Native Americans, Africans, or any mixture thereof. Part of the problem is Latin America really never had the racial segregation the US has, so the races intermixed more freely. It most definitely describes a culture, but at what point does the culture disappear? If you speak only English, and you don't practice any of the cultural things, are you really still "Hispanic"?

I worked with this gal once named Diaz. Her parents were from Cuba, and she was blonde and European-looking. She spoke no Spanish. Should she count as Hispanic?
