Hey, the customer is always right.
Back in 2016, a guy approached my resume business wanting me to write a resume for him so he could apply for a job with the Trump administration. I felt obligated to tell him I voted for Clinton but that I would still write his resume and give it my very best effort. I even gave him some useful advice on what format to use. (He was going to use the standard format instead of the Federal one.) In the end, I think he went with someone else, but it wasn't due to me being a prick.
Besides, there was always the potential he was the reincarnation of Charles Giteau.
Now, here's the point I was trying to make with tax exemptions. Before the Civil War, the Churches were all in on slavery, even quoted bible verses supporting it. Same with the Civil Rights movement. when the lower court found against the Lovings vs. Virginia, the judge invoked God to support miscegenation laws.
In fifty years, all the churches will be performing gay weddings, and will all pretend they had nothing to do with the homophobia future generations will scratch their heads about.
