Jury in Harvey Weinstein trial says they're deadlocked; judge orders them to keep deliberating

"Jurors in the trial against Harvey Weinstein were deadlocked Friday on the two most serious counts against him, prompting the judge to order that any verdict must be unanimous. New York Supreme Court Judge James Burke added that if the jury can't reach a unanimous decision, then it can't return a verdict on the two counts of predatory sexual assault, which carry a maximum penalty of life in prison. The judge also asked the jury to continue deliberations, which are set to resume Monday morning."

Money must be nice when you are a sexual predator.....hopefully after a weekend to think about it, the jury will do the right thing....Either way, I look forward to the evidence about this trial being made public..and if this guy walks, hopefully karma won't take too long in making an example out of him...

How can you be so sure that Weinstein is guilty? Obama sent his minor daughters to "intern" with the man. If Weinstein is indeed a pervert as the prosecution contends, isn't that pretty irresponsible on his part?

To some degree, it’s like KAV with me. Something that wasn’t sexual assault 10 years ago or whatever can’t become SA because your feelings as the object of the “assault” changed.

That being said, unlike Kav, the guy who owns the studio and is well connected in the arts community is exponentially more powerful than a 20 y/o kid.

Obama sending his daughters to intern at his company means the CEO of the company isn’t guilty?

Justice Kavanaugh stood accused of having regular Rape Train parties at his Montgomery County home. That was never approved of, even back in the day. Of course he was found innocent

Not by itself, but if you think that Obama is a decent human being and parent, it certainly would say something positive about Weinstein's character that he was able to meet Obama's standards for dealing with his daughters.

Actually, I think it was a damn good one. Fathers who are worth a shit check out the men that want to spend time with their daughters who live at home.

Weinstein was found guilty, but don't fret he'll get off easy.
