The Joe Biden Open Border Policy. Killing Americans,, wrecking lives and families.

Fentanyl is surging across the southern border at an astronomical rate, with July’s rate of seizures shattering the previous record and tripling June’s rate, according to Homeland Security Department statistics released this week.

The drugs are yet another vulnerability along a U.S.-Mexico boundary plagued by record levels of human smuggling, including 10 more terrorism suspects whom the Border Patrol nabbed in July alone.

Customs and Border Protection reported seizing 2,071 pounds of fentanyl coming in from Mexico in July. That was 60% more than the previous record, set in April, and more than triple the 640 pounds nabbed in June.

It almost equals the amount of fentanyl seized in all of 2019.

That’s worrisome because authorities say the number of seizures is a yardstick for the overall flow. When more fentanyl is found, more is getting through. That means a devastating amount of drugs likely breached the border last month.

Just 2 milligrams of fentanyl is considered enough to kill. Given the drug’s lethality, July’s seizures would be enough to slay nearly 470 million people and amount to nearly 1½ doses for every American.

In its response to The Washington Times, CBP pointed to several large seizures that fueled July’s numbers. One GMC truck stopped by Border Patrol agents was found to have about 250 pounds of fentanyl pills. CBP officers also stopped a GMC Yukon entering from Mexico and found more than 100 pounds hidden inside bags of flour, and cans of ground coffee and powdered milk.

Federal authorities have increasingly sounded alarm bells over what they are seeing from the border.

“A decade ago, we didn’t even know about fentanyl, and now it’s a national crisis,” Randy Grossman, the U.S. attorney in Southern California, said last week ahead of the latest CBP numbers. “The amount of fentanyl we are seizing at the border is staggering.” Mr. Grossman’s area is ground zero for the chaos.

Of the nearly 2,100 pounds of fentanyl seized in July, two-thirds came through Southern California. The majority, more than 1,100 pounds, was nabbed as smugglers toted it through border crossings, tucked inside cars and trucks, or hidden on their bodies.

Border Patrol agents are finding an increasing amount in attempts to smuggle it between the border crossings, or when drivers are caught at highway checkpoints deeper into the U.S. San Diego is San Diego is seeing the ramifications.

Mr. Grossman said the county medical examiner recorded a 2,375% increase in fentanyl-related deaths from 2016 to 2021.

What is dysfunction and anarchy in a country which has its democracy gasping for its last breathes to survive?

Imagine how much they aren't getting because Joe Biden's invitation to "surge to the border" has completely overwhelmed CBP's ability to deal with the invasion.

I don't care about Biden, the psychopath obviously profits from the cartels, what I pay attention to is the near total silence from rino leadership in the senate, indeed I have heard not a word from Mcconnell, Cornyn, Collins, Romney, Graham, Cassidy, nothing!

Imagine how many foreign governments and spy agencies are poisoning Americans with such ease?

Europe and Asia allies are surely estimating the long term sustainability of Americas sovereignty when enemy states can decimate Americans with such ease.

What is Joe Biden doing to stop the flow of fentanyl from China/Mexico? Is he collecting money to a numbered account somewhere for letting the Chinese conspire to kill Americans this way? Because it seems to me he took a border that had stopped the fentanyl murders, and he made it 2,375% WORSE than it was. Our Border Patrol sweated blood to stop the fentanyl even with help from the Trump Administration. I'm very upset. My sister lost her son to fentanyl poisoning. It made him crazy, and by the time the night was getting late, he died in somebody's yard. It was a hard time for everyone in the family to know a beautiful, talented young man went to his grave because of fentanyl.

108,000 people in the U.S. died of drug overdoses between February 2021 and February 2022 with wide open border and drug cartel killers everywhere. People who sell drugs laced with fentanyl are terrorists. And I'm sick of this allowance the President has given to the drug lords. Why? Why? Why?

Why isn't Biden doing something to stop the gruesome madness.

At one time we let people in with trades and had to have a place to go to as backup. Now we have drugs dealers, whores, criminals and gang members plying their trades as they enter.

Just wait until his son Hunter becomes a statistic from some fentanyl-laced crack cocaine.

I'm sure Joe will write a strongly-worded letter to someone.

China is flooding the country with this drug. The southern border is a freeway. We aren’t even taking this seriously.

I was trying not to appear biased. We all know that this is intended to kill Americans. Particularly children.
