Judicial Watch, pursuing the Clintons like Inspector Javert for two decades, scores again
Imo, that's actually clever, because Javert was a tragic character. He's the antagonist of the Les Mis's hero, Valjean, but he's not a villain. Rather, he self-destructs because he's misguided and his destruction comes from a pursuit of justice that would be admirable, except Javert's concept of justice is perverted. And there is something very icky about Judicial Watch.
Meanwhile, there's an analogy to Hillary and Valjean. Valjean's original "crime" was stealing bread to feed starving children, and for that he serves 20 years or something. Then he heroically risks his life saving a stranger, and gives another stranger employment and self-respect. BUT, he's also stolen silver from a poor, pious priest. BUT, the priest not only forgave him, but gave him more silver with the instruction to become an honest man. So, Valjean really is a guilty criminal who goes unpunished by the law, but who serves a "higher good." And, the Clintons probably view themselves as above the law because they do good. LOL
