The People of the United States (not other countries) have an inherent right to insure domestic (not foreign) Tranquility, provide for the common defense (against other people/countries), promote the general welfare (of our people), and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity (not that of others).

The US immigration system is one of the worst in the world. That's wh we have an illegal immigration problem. The process is very long and expensive.
