I know a thing or two about banks as well. If there's a complaint of wrong doing brought to the attention of HR then a team of lawyers kick in that make sure the person's rights are respected. Evidence is gathered, sifted by HR and the lawyers and eventually a decision made to dismiss the issue or dismiss the employee.

In some cases the employee might be put on leave during the investigation, the lawyers work to decide if there is a case that they can defend in court if the individua files a suit, only then is the person dismissed.

The person is never fired (nor is this matter made public) unless there's compelling evidence that would stand up in court of the person filed a wrongful termination lawsuit.

If you had any competence you'd know that having multiple mortgage applications each declaring a property to be primary residence is very common and not itself evidence of fraud.

Mortgage firms see this all the time, sometimes it is fraud but most of the time it isn't.
