Interesting. We get so many conflicting stories from and irresponsible and partisan press, it is difficult to know what to believe. But this one rings true.

And the ultimate solution of course is just to make it so uncomfortable for the migrants--that is uncomfortable and not cruel--that they leave voluntarily.

To expect 700 immigration judges to handle more than 20 million cases, it would take them more than 70 years with each handling 1 case a day, seven days a week which of course they never work seven days a week or 365 days per year. That simply is not reasonable in light of a major migrant invasion of our country even when the government illegally and maliciously facilitated that. Even if they handled three cases a day which would be a stretch given all the legal maneuvering and technicalities, we are still looking at more than 20 years to send all the illegals home.

That is what the Biden administration has forced onto us. We need a remedy more effective and efficient than what the Democrat controlled courts want to allow.

The very purpose and legislative intent of the Alien Enemies Act vests the President with extraordinary power, including unobstructed discretionary deportation power, to deal with and remove aliens from on American soil who may pose a threat to the general welfare of the United States and her citizens.

As to any "process" which may be due to those scheduled for deportation under the AEA, it obviously is a writ of habeas corpus limited to the narrow question of the detainee proving they are a citizen of the United States, and not an alien. Keep in mind this writ of habeas corpus proceeding takes all of a few minutes for the detainee to prove whether or not they are a citizen of the United States.
