Actually the case hasn't made it to the supreme court, but only one of thousands granted consideration for certiorari. On January 6th 2023, the court will decide whether to accept the case (grant certiorari)
Only then, will the case have made it to the USSC.

This may be hard to understand. But if something happened. Reporting on it is not Fake News. The defendants of the lawsuit are seeking legal fees and damages. That is normal. The loser pays in our court system.

Twisting it? Ok. Lake last the case. The normal action that follows is the demand for legal fees and costs. That is absolutely normal. It was a shock for people who sued Lucky Gunner and lost. But it is normal. It is called Sanctions. The side that loses is sanctioned for bringing a losing case.
The idea is that it reduces frivolous lawsuits. It reduces the waste of the courts time.
So what twisting was done? I think we are down to you not liking the result.
