Back to the contempt thingie: I haven’t closely followed this little blip. I heard that team Trump is going to challenge the contempt ruling. Does anybody know the status of that challenge?

Civil and Criminal Contempt.
Criminal because Trump is appearing to disrespect or
impair the courts ability to conduct it's work.
But then the Court also has responsibilities to make sure
and honor a person's right to Privacy and innocence.
The Left is attempting to Make Trump out as a criminal.
Just as the Left and the FBI and Mueller Special Counsel
Jumped the gun and tried to make Trump out as some
Russian Colluder.Or used a Quid Pro Quo.
In a Civil Contempt sense Trump is not acting as if refusing
to pay child support.
Nor is Trump exemplifying Direct Contempt as in shouting

behind bars.
What was Trump rewarded with when after almost 3 years of
Intense False hounding by a Bogus Special Counsel { practically every
prosecutor used gave to Hillary Clinton as a candidate },he was never
offered an apology.
Is that American Justice.No that is Unamerican Witchhunting gone rogue.

I’ll say it is a bit surprising that the Trump lawyer had failed to better document the efforts made to comply with the subpoena. And maybe it is true that, because of procedural rules, the former President did make objections in an untimely fashion. But even so, the contempt determination strikes me as an abuse of discretion by the judge. I guess we’ll see soon enough.

I dislike the NYS AG’s propensity to litigate out of partisan political malice. Maybe a cooler head will prevail upon a review of the judge’s determination.

The NY AG is supposedly hot to trot on Trump, yet the Manhattan DA previously expressed concerns over the viability of obtaining a conviction with Trump. The left went bonkers with his statement resulting in two prosecutors pulling the bail out lever. Then the Manhattan DA sheepishly said the investigation was continuing.....In my opinion, to shut up the freaking out base that elected him.
