JP Morgan changes DEI to DOI

Some students need more help. Offering one size fits all leaves many behind. The goal is to develop functional students. Even if they need more help.
ADA provides additional facilities to those who need them

Equity

Opportunity is not equal outcome, equity is equal outcome.

No, equity is giving special treatment for an equal outcome. It can come in many forms.

Opportunity is like everyone lining up at the starting line for a 100 meter dash.
Not everyone will finish the same at the end .

Equity is allowing the slower to either start before others, or not run as far as others
to finish at the same time.

Equity does not mean everyone will run the same times

But it will provide you the tools to finish the race

So you believe in special treatment? Then YOU are an Equity person.
I believe everyone gets the same opportunity and let the chips fall where they will.

Yes I do
I believe in helping those who need help

Our schools have operated that way for generations

Used to be the class got one teacher and everyone received the same lesson. If you failed, you failed.
Equality of education.

But today we recognize all students don’t learn the same. Some have learning disabilities and need extra help to complete the lessons.

Look, we're talking about DEI and DOI.
But thanks for your opinion.

That's a false equivalency. You're trying to compare a system set up to assist disabled or mentally challenged people to "DEI".

The two are not the same. I support helping the disabled and those who cannot help themselves. For the rest, opportunity is all the government needs to enforce.
.

I live in a beautiful, small, conservative town where people of faith and good will demonstrate daily how important it is to care for those in need.

I never saw a blue city leftist extend the same good will and generosity. They demand it come from "others", as in taxpayers.

Anyone who doesn't get this, don't move to my town. You will not be appreciated.
