Johnson Fails To Claim Leadership On First Ballot.

Mike Johnson came up short in his bid to remain speaker on the first ballot.

Reps. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.), Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Keith Self (R-Texas) voted against Johnson in the alphabetical roll call vote. Johnson can only afford to lose one GOP vote and still reclaim the gavel, meaning he needs to flip at least two of those members in subsequent ballots and not lose any other support.

About a dozen other Republicans who were undecided going into the vote opted to back Johnson. Six of them were silent during the initial roll call but later voted for Johnson: Reps. Andy Biggs (Ariz.), Michael Cloud (Texas), Andy Harris (Md.), Andrew Clyde (Ga.), Chip Roy (Texas) and Paul Gosar (Ariz.).
Fake news...

You have to admit, that all 3 of these Leftists come on here, attempting to make like political pundits, and end up looking ridiculous, lololol. They should stick with their main jobs, poverty pimpery, hehehehehehehehe!

Now they just sat johnson on his throne & are applauding him.

Turn on your TV.
When I retired, I made a couple rules for myself.

1) No watching TV during the day unless it's an important football game or a National Event.

2) No Day Time drinking unless it can't be avoided. Like Boating, Fishing, etc. Has to be along with a physical activity.

When I read that Johnson had won, I went back to check FNC and they said he'd lost. 4cereal I saw it with my own eyes.

Yup...I saw it too...but at that moment Johnson was in the "cloak room" beating 2 repub's like slugo beating Mr. Bill.

They came out of the cloak room & started singing a different tune :auiqs.jpg:

You forgot Bitching.

Maybe true, but the bunch of them practicing in unison being race hustling, POVERTY PIMPS, is the most laughable thing I have ever seen!

Out of curiosity------------>how many USMBers believe/think, that IM2 is a sock for Curried Goats?!?!?!?!?!?! While we know we can NOT dox these people, maybe we should start connecting their primary accounts with their SOCKS; all in an effort to count how many Leftists on here there really is, lol. I believe 10 or 12 with a bunch of SOCKS, and then they do have a few stand alones.........maybe, but I wouldn't bet my life that there is more than 1 to 3 stand alones-)

An interesting tidbit. Nancy with a broken hip and a replacement is standing up and down multiple times. And this with not relaxing as she came over from Europe. They lie to your face.... the backstabbers.

I wonder if Trump made a call to those 2 repubs to get them to change their votes?

This goes to show the power of Trump already...and he's not even sworn in yet :D

See? I not be shitting on you!! Everybody really did have Johnson losing the first vote!!

Didja notice? The Reichstag members voted unanimously for Hakeem (the dream) Jeffries! 100% They didn't need any coaxing

shocking, ain't it?!

My first question to Mike would be what did he have to promise to turn the two dissenters around?

I know that now but the DISGUSTING FILTH really did have him losing the first vote.
It did appear that way, all the votes had been cast and Johnson was shy a majority.

The media just jumped the gun- the vote was held open long enough to strongarm 2 holdouts into changing their vote.

I had it on C-Span live, it looked for a while like they were getting ready for another round of voting, and then it wasn't necessary.
