He was one of the most realistic child actors I ever saw. He seemed to have such a strong relationship with Chuck Connors

RIP, Mark McCain.

I have watched the reruns once or twice a week for decades. The power of the father-son dynamic always captures me, probably because I had no father (or stepfather).

My wife is going to be very unhappy when she wakes in the morning to the news. She thought Johnny Crawford was the "cutest" of all the cowboy tv stars.
