There is a time to play golf according to the rules, and many times when it makes sense to bend the rules, and not worry about the score. Clinton is not a professional golfer, nor has he ever played in a league. With money on the line, I'm sure he plays according to the rules that the players establish (which are not always the "official rules of golf").
