well, I am not an expert on Conventions but there is talk about replacing him at the DNC convention.
The thing is, though, people haven't had time, if that happens, to make up their minds about whomever that may be.. unless it is someone everyone knows

That is the problem. They have Harris, a universally hated VP, and they have Clinton, a human being who is actually worse than Biden and who has been rejected before.
The Democrats don't have a bench to speak of so they are stuck with Biden and losing this coming election.
