Why? Probably because his woke girlfriend refused to put out for him unless he spoke out. And because we can't go to a music concert, or listen to a comedian, or go watch a football game without being lectured for hours by Leftists as to why unborn babies need to die or the fact that we need to round up all the guns.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is getting involved outside the playing field.
The NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year on Monday shared an Instagram post that championed abortion rights.
The post contains examples of women hurt by the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade’s abortion right. Burrow’s entry also arrived after a law essentially banning abortion after six weeks went into effect in Ohio, the Cincinnati Enquirer noted.
“I’m not pro-murdering babies,” the 2021 post begins provocatively.
“I’m pro-Becky who found at her 20-week anatomy scan that the infant she had been so excited to bring into this world had developed without life-sustaining organs,” it continues.
“I’m pro-Susan who was sexually assaulted on her way home from work, only to come to the horrific realization that her assailant planted his seed in her when she got a positive pregnancy test result a month later.”
The entry lists other scenarios of unwanted or dangerous pregnancies. Similar versions appear on Twitter threads.
Burrow, who led the Bengals to the Super Bowl, where they lost to the Los Angeles Rams in February, also advocated for gun control following recent high-profile mass shootings. He called on politicians to enact tougher measures on firearms sales.

“You’ve gotta at least make it harder to get those crazy guns that everybody is using,” Burrow said.

There is no word from Joe when babies mysteriously become human in the womb, or if he believes in the Birth Fairy who waves her magic wand over the infant as it exits the womb so that is it made human.

Hey Joe, try winning a Super Bowl and maybe someone will actually care what you have to say.

That's right, in other words, shut up

He is free to state his opinion, and good for him taking advantage of his prominent position, now he must own it.

But it is worth pointing out the the Supreme Court did not prohibit abortion; indeed, they acknowledged that they have no power to do so. You could write a fairly sizable pamphlet explaining how the Court did not prohibit or outlaw abortion, and why, on the other hand, the Left is determined to convince a gullible public that that is exactly what the Supreme Court did.

It is also worth pointing out that rational, fecund women who do not want to become pregnant, will henceforth cooperate with their sperm donors to ensure that they do not become pregnant (in the jurisdictions where abortions are most constrained), so that the new legal situation will not significantly impact their lives going forward.

A pox on those who presume that such women are so hopelessly irresponsible or stupid that they will continue becoming pregnant as though nothing had changed.

Burrow should be forced to apologize, then face a hefty fine after doing so.

Assistant coach Jack Del Rio of the Washington Redskins had to do exactly that for asking why the murderous BLM thugs weren't investigated following their 2020 rioting.

Fans need to speak up about this.

Now that Burrow has lost two in a row and is on a team that appears to be the worst in the NFL, I wonder how the boy feels about abortion and gun control now?

More importantly, does anyone really give a damn?

At 0-2 to start the year maybe he should have focused a bit more on football and a bit less on his political/social stances.

Well he is on a team that allows the QB to be hit more than any QB in NFL history, as he has already survived a hit that should have ended his career.

So maybe he is just looking ahead after the next career ending injury but going woke and expecting any job he wants when he gets out of that horrible franchise known as the Bungs.

Just smile and say, "Orange man bad" and the world will be his oyster.
