If an intelligent, history conscious American were to read between the lines of the behaviors and biographies, words, facial expressions and actions of many "elected" American leaders of the past couple of centuries, he or she could come to a very disturbing suspicion—if not conclusion: those leaders seem bred to evince a certain nonchalant corruption, musical idiocy and proud, almost animalistic lunacy. When the veil of awe and soothing, soothsaying words is thrown back from the faces of those we trust to lead us a similar visage of wicked indifference and joyful wickedness seem to lie beneath. In this way, Biden is one of them.

And then one must really, truly wonder if our beloved political party leadership are trolling us when they choose to back blokes like Biden. Personally, I think the leadership of both major political parties want to see just how much blatant stupidity Americans are willing to vote for in a leader. In that sense, at least, we get what we deserve.

As for Biden's prostitution admission? Does it really surprise anyone? Politicians are owned, possibly from birth, and it is not We the People who own them. Perhaps if Americans minded being led by epically, tragicomically moronic men and women they'd lift more than a TV remote in rebellion. Just saying.
