If Sleepy Joe is elected next month, will he try and install a hand picked AG to sweep this investigation under the rug, or will he do the right thing and keep Barr in office until the probe is complete and justice is done?

IMHO, if Biden were elected and fired Barr, that would be Obstruction of Justice and grounds for impeachment and removal.

The answer to this is to make Durham officially a Special Prosecutor---like Mueller. I think Barr will do that before he leaves office---he has called what happened "one of the greatest travesties in American History" and an attempt to "sabotage" Trump's presidency.
