I said that, right or wrong, the right wing partisans who were outraged at the treatment he received from the left wing partisans would do the same thing to someone on the left side of the aisle, and they are (naturally, those who demanded Kavanaugh's head on a platter over a single unsubstantiated allegation are stridently proclaiming Biden's innocence).

This cycle will continue and get worse until one side decides they are better than that. I don't see that happening any time soon.

Personally, I don't think Biden is a pedophlie. I think he doesn't recognize personal space, especially for young girls, but this is politics, where image is reality. And why don't accusations like that impact Trump? Because he doesn't act embarrassed, he doesn't apologize, he doesn't act like any accusations really matter, and he strikes back, hard. If this cycle continues, the politicians who survive will be like that.
