I guess Thomas Jefferson was a Christian nationalist for the first sentence of the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, although in fairness to stupid leftists, they don’t believe in “self-evident truth” either, because they are unable to grasp the meaning of “self-evident” as Thomas Aquinas, Jefferson, Hamilton, and Lincoln learned from Euclid. (One of my core lessons in the classroom is the continuity of thought between the “Two Tommys”—Tommy Aquinas and Tommy Jefferson. Hardly anyone ever notices this.)

This could well be battlefield preparation. It doesn't have to be coherent to be effective. It just has the create another scapegoat/bogeyman for those willing, statist dupes out there.
The bottom line is that Democrat Neo-Marxist ideology cannot stand the idea of a higher power endowing rights, because that gets in the way of an all-powerful government. That’s why Hitler hated genuine Christianity.
Ironically, the leftists attempting to smear liberty-believers with “Christian Nationalism” as a way to imply they are Nazis, are themselves advocating the idea that no religious belief should be permitted to limit government power, which puts them squarely in the National Socialist camp.
