"Jobs Americans Won't Do"

OMAHA, Nebraska — Every seat in the waiting area of Glenn Valley Foods was occupied with people filling out job applications early Thursday afternoon, two days after the meatpacking plant became the center of the largest worksite immigration raid in the state of Nebraska so far this year.
Dozens of prospective employees, many of them Spanish speakers, had been coming in and out of the plant all day. Some were hoping to land a new job; others were coming in for training.

The scene gave the company’s president, Chad Hartmann, a glimmer of hope amid the chaos that ensued after Tuesday's raid purged roughly half of his staff — many of whom had been longtime employees of the company, which has been processing boxed beef for more than 15 years.

BJ -
Jobs that other people won't do.
Nope
The raid happened on the same week John Ewing officially took office as the first Black mayor of Omaha. Ewing, a Democrat, defeated Republican incumbent Jean Stothert in last month's election.

change is coming real soon

You’re deporting the people that have ambition and are working towards a better life.
They can focus that ambition on coming in legally. Then we get the ambitious ones and filter out the bum future democrat voters.

Coming into the country legally is almost impossible for the vast majority of people.

How many were just applying because they wanted to keep unemployment or welfare benefits flowing, and had no intention of taking these jobs?

How many wouldn't be hired because they couldn't pass background checks or drug screenings?

I remember working for a company that hired illegals through a "labor agency". We knew they were undocumented, but they did the scrub work Americans didn't want to do.

Then new owners came in, and demanded that the labor agency only send "Americans". The people they sent were drugged-out white methheads that scared the pee out of the office girls.
Just admit that you're bummed that legal Murican citizens DO want to do these jobs and STFU.

In that case they should remain in their own country

You and the migrants do not believe in the rule of law

The law is broken and republicans refuse to do anything about it.

Instead they rely on their king to do everything by unilateral executive edict.

There goes another open borders shitlib jabbering point, shot down like a clay pigeon.

Scads of legal citizens flood in with resumes in hand after the ICE raid.

Another dishonest moonbat trope dies in the process: "There's no great replacement!"

A funny thing happened after ICE raided a meatpacking plant…

But a funny thing happened in Nebraska this week that blew that tired, dusty old myth to bits. ICE raided Glenn Valley Foods, pulling off the largest worksite immigration raid in state history. Dozens of illegal workers were removed and deported on the spot.

And what happened next? Well, something the media and the left don’t want you to know…

The waiting room was jam-packed with American citizens lined up, applications in hand, eager to work. The very jobs we’re told no Americans want suddenly became hot commodities the moment the illegals were shown the door.

I don't see them rushing to pick lettuce or scrub hotel bathrooms.

Illegals really do the jobs Americans won't do.

Like Melania.

Lets just mention some basic macroeconomics:

Nebraska has 2.6% unemployment, also known as LABOR SHORTAGE.

What happens to economy with labor shortage when you quickly remove even more laborers with no plan to replace them?

You get economic stagflation, where prices are rising while economic output shrinks.

Conservatives want to do it anyway? Ok just don't dilute yourselves and others by pretending there are not going to be very significant economic disruptions and costs.

I would believe you if ICE hadn't seized immigrants who are here legally.
