Jimmy Kimmel reportedly ‘f–king livid’ over ABC pulling ‘Live!’ — as Trump cheers ‘great news for America’

This is not “cancel culture” this is censorship.

I don’t think most people recognize the difference, but I do know that MAGA is a huge fan of censorship, it’s the only way they can win an argument

Oh, by the way, I keep meaning to fix this for you:

Constitution of the United States of America. You know, the one that Trump said he would terminate parts of. like the 1st Amendment.

Constitution of the United States

First Amendment

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Kimmel's right to speak has not been removed, infringed or even leaned on. While he continues to be able to say anything he wants, he is reminded. There is no constitutional right to an audience.

Free speech is stifled, and you are still a moron.

These are the only absolute truths I will burden you with for now.
Boring, ignorant speech is canceled. No one was listening to Kimmel anyway. I think Darwin had something to say about what is happening.

Not so as we see the stupid claims hurled by you FAGATs totally unsupported and intended as frantic tirades.

It isn't funny, now. Is it?

That ******* bastard reveled at other celebrities and newsmen getting cancelled, but when it happens to him, it ain't cool.

**** him. You can reap what you sow, you ******* mother ******* piece of shit.

Broadcast networks, need to get back to having hosts that are not an extension of the DNC.
This isn't hard, you simply hire talent who do not alienate half the population.

Kimnel will sue. ABC will lose. And trump will just act like he had nothing to b do with it...like the good authoritarian that he is.
Who is Kimball going to sue? He can't sue the government without their permission. And when it comes to the network, remember the liberal quotation: "Freedom of the press belongs to the man who owns the printing press." In this case, that's the network.

Kimball is free to say anything he wants, but not on the company’s time. They made a business decision: Kimball would just cause too much trouble.

Diebold did the same thing some years ago, if you remember. They were accused of helping Bush (the younger) in that election with their voting machines. They just got out of the business. It wasn’t worth it to them—they weren’t making enough money and had to deal with all the negative publicity

I hope ABC does lose but under what grounds though? The only thing I could see happening is them settling, in order to keep the spotlight off of them and their stocks. Any protracted fight won't look good for them, but that's not really losing. Nor do I see Kimmel winning either. ABC would need to have violated some clause in his contract. As cowardly as it was for ABC to do what they did, it was still their right to do so.

Kimmel is not funny, not interesting, not a good guy and nobody want to watch his show. The fact that he thinks his firing is an injustice, makes him stupid too.

Corporations that are in the right and have done nothing wrong settle lawsuits all the time—because they know it's cheaper than going to court. It's not right; it's just the way it is.

A corporation has a fiduciary responsibility to its investors. It's not their money they're spending. They have to be absolutely certain they'll win before they'll go to court. Again, it's not right, but it's how things work.

Now, if Kimball had been making them enough money, They would have gone all the way to the Supreme Court. But he wasn’t. It was a matter of profit. And I reckon it has to be that way, ’cause there are a lot of retired people living on fixed incomes who depend on the money the company generates.
