There is no prohibition in Israel on practicing a religious faith, speaking about a faith, proselytizing a faith (with exceptions, noted below), or singing songs of faith. Israel has freedom of religion for all faiths.

That said, from my understanding, most Israelis have very strong feelings against attempting to convert people.

Exceptions for proselytizing in Israel's Penal Code:

174A.If a person gives or promises another person money, valuable consideration or another material benefit in order to entice him to change his religion or to cause him to entice another to change his religion, then he is liable to five years imprisonment or a fine of NS150,000.

Change of a minor's religion
368. (a) (b) If a person performs a religious conversion ceremony of a minor or performs some other act that leads to the change of a minor's religion, in violation of the provisions of section 13A of the Capacity and Guardianship Law 5722-1962, then he is liable to six months imprisonment. If a person induces a minor, by addressing him directly, to change his religion, then he is liable to six months imprisonment.

There are two acts of proselytization which are crimes under Israel's Penal Code.

1. Inducing someone to convert to another religion by providing money, consideration of value, or material benefit.

Who the **** cares! They don’t represent a vast majority of 99% of Jews and they certainly don’t represent Judaism as a faith. Again, since the Old Testament was given to the Jews thousands of years before the appearance of Jesus, there is no opinion of Jesus and the New Testament. Especially since Jesus was born and raised as a Jew.

Now maybe you can tell us why you aren’t offended at Muslims who are committing large scale genocide and ethnic cleansing on Christians all over the world. Christians in Israel are patriotic and feel safe because is a tolerant country with about 2 million Arab Muslims with the same exact rights as the Jews.
