This means much to me because my grandparents lived in the old Medina in Tunis. After 1948 angry Muslims took out their anger on Jewish neighbors. Rich Tunisian Jews went to France. The rest to Israel.

I love old sephardic shuls. You find them in the most unexpected place.

Like this one in Cochin, India.

I have met some Cochin Jews. Maybe i will get to travel to India. But first Dubai and Abu Dhabi. There are small Jewish communities there.

And in Bahrain where they are successful merchants.. A female Jewish attorney is their ambassador to the US.

Jews didn't leave Libya until 1973.

Well, Jews tend to be successful attorneys and merchants,
regardless of time and location.

And you're again mistaken,
the last communities of Jews left Lybia in 1969,
many immigrated to Israel even before its independence,
so that 30% of Lybia's Jewish community already left by October 1949.
