Satan, the mythological talking serpent character in the fairy tale, is just a metaphor for a despicable deceptive human archetype. In Hebrew the word for serpent is Nachash, which is both a noun and an adjective meaning snake, brazen, shiny one, and/or one who practices divination, the magical arts, sorcery, what is now well known as brainwashing or mind control.
The reality that you have to face is that satan is whatever scumbag convinced you that the devil was an invisible disembodied entity that tries to get people to do naughty things, that aren't sinful, and promotes as good what God has forbidden under penalty of "the death", a curse.
You were told that satan is always trying to dissuade you from your faith in the crap they put into your gullible head so then when any rational objection to the garbage they are feeding you arises in your own mind you panic like a sissy and think you are under a satanic attack on your genuine and sincere "faith" (in bullshit), you phony fuck, effectively turning your own mind against itself putting your very soul into an artificially induced state of mind that resembles a very deep sleep.
