The LORD loves you too, Luddly! The Bible does not teach that you had better worship and pray to God or he will cast you into fire for all of eternity. That is nowhere to be found in Scripture. Salvation is through Christ alone. Not through our own efforts, Luddly.
Throw out the do's and don'ts. Invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart and become your Lord and Savior according to Romans 10:9,10 and you will desire to worship the Lord and pray to Him. God is not a Dictator nor a hard taskmaster. Those who are living under the oppression of Satan are living under a hard taskmaster / Dictator but truly one must wonder why anyone would worship a defeated angel whose Master is Jesus Christ! You know, Satan can do nothing without first obtaining permission from God. So what's the devil's reward? Fear and torment with a hell that has no exits at the end of it all? NO THANKS! But it is, Jillian. As you were created in the image of God (Gen.1:26) you are a spirit that has a body and a soul. One day your body will die and your spirit and soul will go to one of two places. Heaven or hell. Because your spirit will never die it must go to one of those two places. The only way to enter into heaven is to come to the One who offers us Salvation. Moses spoke of Him. He is the LORD and His name is Jesus. He is the Alpha and the Omega - the beginning and the end, the Bright Morning Star, the fairest of Ten Thousand, Emmanuel - God with us, Wonderful Counselor and Mighty God. He is The Redeemer and there is none other.
