You wonder about the mentality of these idiots who think wasting huge amounts of time of their colleagues and boring people to death makes them look good or accomplishes anything of value.

I listened to about 45 minutes of it going to pick up some crabs. He is a fairly good speaker, and i think they are polishing him up and are going to premiere him as Obama 2 with Vindeman. He has some talking points, the typical heart-rending extreme crybaby cases that are few in number but big in emotion, and he keeps repeating them for effect. He has come up with a lot of new catchy 3- and 4-word slogans which he repeats to the flipper crowd. These will no doubt be heard the next election cycle. A long time was spent remembering his growing up suffering as a black man, which made them pee in their designer dresses. Typical election fare, the other side bad we good. In short, the rest of the House is concerned about their reelection chances and chose him to mouth the words they all love to hear.
