Insurance paid--$22,964.54
My share--$4,649.29
$37,245.64 was an "adjustment", my insurance discount. The hospital was only paid $27,613.83. If I was uninsured illegal immigrant the hospital would be claiming they lost $64,859.47, BULLSHIT.

Even better, about six months ago I was suffering some back and shoulder paid. My doctor sent me to the imaging center for an x-ray but the technician had already went home for the day, they told me I could have it done at the hospital. There, they told me I could pay my share up front and get 25% off. The list price was right at a thousand bucks, insurance paid thirty and I paid five, that was it. Paid in full. Here again, the hospital would claim they lost a thousand bucks, laughable.
Vance is a total dimwit. Want to know why rural hospitals are closing? Look no further than Medicare Advantage plans that are slow pay or no pay for the answer.
