If people really thought the election was being stolen, would that not be a legitimate thing to protest? Mind you, no protest should turn violent, but the police in the crowd that day, with their stun grenades, and their agitation, didn't help to diffuse thr situation, but I digress, thr riot shouldn't have happened, and those who actually committed violence should be punished with whatever punishment meets the violence they committed.

I am a conservative independent who would call it a protest against the stolen 2020 election. The FBI dressed as Trump supporters, instigated violence and a few idiots took the bait.

There was no "stolen election" to protest against. The fact that lots of people insist 1 = 2 does not mean that 1 = 2.

Coupled with the lying MSM they tried to "sell it" as an insurrection just to keep Trump off any future ballot. They even horribly abused 1500 Americans and falsely imprisoned and tortured them...which they are doing to this day.

One for Trump's J3 meeting and one for Capitol Police Chief Sund's request thru the Capitol Police Board and Nancy Pelosi's supervision of the Sgts at Arms, Irving & stenger. Mayor Bowser requested 340 NG to help with traffic control but the Capitol grounds' security is the responsibility of the Capitol Police.
