I am far left, progressive, liberal, but Jan 6 was just protected political expression, which should happen far more often.
I remember going to DC for a protest when the Vietnam war entered into Cambodia in 1973, and the police started clubbing if anyone even touched the first step. They arrested over 10,000 people.
I vastly prefer the people being able to protest inside Congress.
It is supposed to be a democratic republic you know.
