January 6 probe fizzing out?

only a handful of low level offenses. The great left wing tin foil hat conspiracy theory may wind up being not much.
That's a whole lotta wishful thinking you got there, kid.

Don't be too disappointed when it doesn't pan out.

more like traitors trying to bust down & climb thru the only barrier left to get to congress critters.
Simple misdemeanor trespass--no weapons found on ANYONE. Now let's examine BLM/Antifa, your traitorous heroes. See Portland, Seattle, CHOP/CHAZ, Minneapolis, NYC, St. Louis, Detroit, Baltimore. You know, the places your heeroes spent actually carrying out arson, murder and assault. Places where your heeroes actually carried weapons. HaHaHa, you're a moron--go make your hubby a sammich.

false. weapons were found. you ignorantly think a weapon = only a firearm? lol ... that's legally wrong.

Deadly Weapon

A deadly weapon is usually an object, instrument, substance, or device which is intended to be used in a way that is likely to cause death, or with which death can be easily and readily produced. A deadly weapon need not be a weapon in the traditional sense. For example, in Acers v. United States the Supreme Court acknowledged that a large rock could be considered a deadly weapon when used by a defendant to strike the victim in the head, fracturing his skull. Some jurisdictions allow for even more flexibility in the definition of a deadly weapon.

oh ya - then there's THIS:

Prosecutors have charged a fourth Capitol riot defendant with a firearms violation

BY CASSIDY MCDONALD
JUNE 17, 2021 / 4:47 PM / CBS NEWS

A fourth Capitol riot defendant was charged Thursday with firearms violations in connection with the January 6 attack. The new charges add weight to claims that rioters used weapons during the mob violence and come after dozens of riot defendants have already been charged with wielding other "deadly or dangerous" weapons.

The defendant, Guy Reffitt, of Wylie, Texas, was charged with two new crimes in a superseding indictment Thursday, which alleged that he transported a rifle and a semi-automatic handgun to D.C. and that he carried the semi-automatic handgun while on U.S. Capitol grounds January 6.

Trump's goon attack on Congress cannot be swept under the rug, despite the Loser's groveling weenies' desperate desire to do so.

Justice will not be denied.

Prosecutors: Jan. 6 rioters committed more than 1,000 assaults on police

The new statistic underscores the violence of the attack and the fact that prosecutors are still hunting for dozens, if not hundreds, of suspects...
The statistic was included in a status update provided to the judge in the case of Couy Griffin, one of more than 600 defendants charged for joining the mob at the Capitol. Prosecutors say they have reviewed more than 2,900 police body-camera videos totaling more than 2,300 hours and are in the process of uploading them to an evidence database to be made available to defendants.
Prosecutors have already charged more than 100 Capitol defendants with assaulting or impeding officers from the U.S. Capitol Police and the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department. More than 130 officers were injured during the violence unleashed by the mob of supporters of Trump who stormed the Capitol as Congress was in the process of certifying Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election. One officer died shortly after the attack, and several others died by suicide in the weeks and months since.

Trump has, in recent months, sought to rewrite the history of his supporters’ actions inside the Capitol, claiming they were peaceful and particularly well-mannered toward police. The new statistic, though, underscores the intense violence of the attack and the fact that prosecutors are still hunting for dozens, if not hundreds, of suspects in some of the violent crimes that day...

Of course it's fizziling out.

Everytime they tried to nail trump on something, hell he got impeached 2 times, it always fizzles out. They come out loud and strong declaring "we got em!" And screaming all kinds of shit. Then as time goes by they get quieter and quieter until finally they tuck their tails between their legs and quietly wander off.

I agree since the FBI already investigated and came up with very little. Leave it Pelousy to want another investigation. She sure does like to waste tax dollars on her bull shit.
Trump's goon attack on the Capitol is resulting in a Congressional investigation in addition to the hundreds of Trump goons who were identified, apprehended, and are being prosecuted.

More Trump goons may be hellbent on perpetuating the assault upon American democracy, but police will be ready for them:

Trump goons' prosecutions continue. Some of these characters are pathetic.

An Alabama man charged with bringing 11 Molotov cocktails and other weapons to Washington on the day of the U.S. Capitol riot has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors, according to a court filing.
The Wednesday filing from federal prosecutors did not provide details of the agreement with Lonnie Coffman of Falkville, Alabama. Coffman, 71, was charged with multiple firearms charges, including possession of unregistered firearms and possession of a large-capacity ammunition feeding device...

Coffman is one of hundreds of people arrested after rioters supporting then-President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 and disrupted the certification of President Joe Biden’s election win.
Police that day found Coffman’s truck in Washington packed with 11 mason jars containing a flammable liquid; several loaded guns; a crossbow with bolts; several machetes; camouflage smoke devices and a stun gun, according to prosecutors...
Coffman is an Army veteran who served two tours during the Vietnam War. According to family members, he dealt with depression and “often spoke about the difficulty he had dealing with the experiences from the war,” the court document said. A family member said Coffman “became a hermit after he separated from his wife,” according to the court document.

Denial of the Trump goon attack is becoming more and more difficult to lie about as the prosecutions and congressional investigation proceed.

Oath Keeper pleads guilty in Jan. 6 riot, will cooperate

A member of the far-right Oath Keepers militia group that stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 has pleaded guilty and will cooperate with investigators against his fellow extremists, marking another win for the Justice Department in its major conspiracy case stemming from the attack.

So long as anyone who attacked a police officer, or who intentionally destroyed property, gets a felony in his career package, it's cool. No one wanted to ruin the lives of idiots who basically trespassed.

As long as the murderer of the unarmed protester is brought to justice.

Listen up dopey. The only insurrection against democracy in the country's history where the president was actively involved promoting it, arrests have been made, people have been killed and investigations still proceeding yet you think it will fizzle out.
You must be completely barking mad.

Don't bother giving me the thumbs up. Get into them. Don't be intimidated by bulliy republicans . Stick it up the lying hypocrits.

I didnt see where those names you listed were present at the capitol.
You got evidence of that?

As the Trump goon parade in the courts continues and Congress investigates the Trump goons' attack upon it, it's amusing to watch the feeble excuses, starting with the degenerate Matt Gaetz trying to blame antifa.

After Keven McCarthy had declared, “The president bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters,”
and Mitch McConnell had candidly admitted, "The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people," Utah, Sen. Mike Lee, a notorious Trump butt boy, mewled in a Fox News interview a month after the Jan. 6 riot that Trump deserved a “mulligan” for the speech he delivered encouraging his supporters to march on the Capitol and “fight like hell!”

What could be a more fitting legal pretext for avoiding responsibility for inciting an attack on the government of the United States?

With dozens convicted or having confessed, the more violent of the hundreds of Trump goons await trial, even as the congressional inquiry into the attack on the Capitol proceeds.

Such an assault upon our democracy cannot be allowed to happen again:

The newly installed chief of the U.S. Capitol Police says the force, still struggling six months after an insurrection that left its officers battled, bloodied and bruised, “cannot afford to be complacent.”
“We have never had the level of threats against members of Congress that we’re seeing today,” Manger said. “Clearly, we’ve got a bigger job in terms of the protection aspect of our responsibilities, we’ve got a bigger job than we used to.”
Propelled by Trump, the awakening of domestic extremist groups and the continued volatility around the 2020 election have changed the calculus.
Screen Shot 2021-09-29 at 12.33.19 PM.png
Officials had compiled intelligence showing white supremacists and other extremists were likely to assemble in Washington on Jan. 6 and that violent disruptions were possible. Police officers were brutally beaten in the insurrection.

And what about the murdered woman?

Or the detained citizens who languish in jail without charges against them?
Arsonists and anarchists in the George Floyd riots were long ago let out of jail.

Why the double standard, as if it's not very clear.

One thing that makes me think this was pre-planned is that party that Trump's sons set up with the news being projected. A lot of people showed up to it too.

It's not exactly evidence that they knew, but it still raises a lot of questions.
