Today Representative James Clyburn was on one of the main Sunday morning news programs ABC's This Week to talk about the voting issue and geeze what a disappointment; he is a black representative with a long career he is a very distinguished and bright man but what a disappointment in the character department and not living up to his potential. He with his stature could and should lead the country to solve the problem of Black Americans being in danger of having their community's votes suppressed; but, he chooses not to be courageous he chooses to take the easy road to repeatedly proclaim discrimination, to play the race card but not to be a good steward and caretaker of our nation's election system which he is duty bound to do because of his office. On This Week Congressman Clyburn acted all provocative saying things like Senator Manchin and Senator Sinema care about the votes of the minority in the Senate with their stance on the filibuster but they don't care about the millions of minorities that vote in the nation's elections.

A great black leader would be analyzing the situation with yes my people are in danger of having their votes suppressed and I have to stop this but what is a fair analysis of the criticism of the opponents of this Democrat's legislation. The opponents have many legitimate concerns this legislation will bring widespread voting by people that are not U.S. citizens and should not be voting in any elections not only Federal elections, this legislation will make our nation's voting registration rolls more inaccurate thus our elections more vulnerable to fraud, this legislation will generate curbside voting and mandates unrestricted mail-in balloting all subject to ballot harvesting corrupting our democracy and thereby producing unfair elections, this legislation will give the Federal government and the Department of Justice authority over many states voting laws and thus usurp these states ability to stop fraud.

A great black leader would chart a course for his people where they respect those concerns but just solve the problem they are facing. This problem is solved by having the Federal Government pass a law mandating fourteen days of early voting. Further, to stop undue waiting by voters in minority polling places pass a Federal law that mandates states must provide enough polling sites in minority communities so that for minority polling sites the number of voting age residents in the respective voting district must be no higher than that in the middle fifty percent of voting district existing state wide on that specific statistic. The Federal law can further mandate that states must have enough polling sites so that ninety percent of voters voting at that site are not waiting longer than forty-five minutes to vote the states shall use prior election results to determine how many polling sites are needed to meet this standard. The federal law should define a minority polling site as one where at least fifty-one percent of the voting age residents of the voting district are a minority.

I don't agree that he is a very bright man. He might be qualified to shine Dr. MLK's shoes and bring him coffee.

Jim Clyburn is one of Biden's old cronies and is THE reason Biden got the nomination. If you will recall, Biden's campaign was sputtering and flaming out much like the candidate himself. Then Clyburn handed Biden South Carolina and the DNC said "Welp there it is! Everyone get behind Biden."
