Someone here doesn't understand that informed consent to medical therapy applies to inmates as well.
 
Inmates are a ward of the state. As far as I'm concerned they have no rights.
Well, that puts you in opposition to basic principles of human rights. Experimenting on prisoners is a pretty dark road to go down.

They have rights.
Everyone always has rights because they are inherent.
Government can not take away rights.
All government can do is reduce the rights of perpetrators when necessary, in order to defend the rights of others.
If inmates had no rights, then you could rape, enslave, or murder them at will, and you can't obviously.
