I've had TDS since fifth grade.

Yet another uniparty flame thread.

When will they ever learn?

Okay, I'll bite.

You "not Democrats" are at least more creative in your speculating than Democrats.

What is the delusion that Trump supporters share?
That Trump is in any way fit for the office. C'mon. You think that's real?

How do you get yourself to a place that you'll accept such an insane proposition? He's the best your party can do?? Really???

If that's true, then just give up. You're doing it wrong.

So, you feel that Trump is unfit for office, and therefore those who doen't share your feelings are delusional? Got it.

You'll want to provide some evidence of this supposed unfitness, not just claims based on emotion.

You got me again. I told myself 'dblack wouldn't start a thread like this without something real in mind.' I guess that was a delusion on my part.

In this case, yes. It's the same feeling I got arguing with kids about whether wrestling was real. Call it TDS, call it WTF?, call it whatever you like. But talking to people who believe, without question, in something entirely preposterous. Yes. That's delusional.

No. It wouldn't make any difference. That's sort of the point with delusion. Just like going over the proof that wrestling was fake was a total waste of time.

It seems you refused to vote. Did you?
I'm not playing this idiot game with you. If your idea of "participating" is pretending that Biden, Trump or Harris are sane choices - then you're every bit as deluded as fifth grade wrestling fans.

Voting for bad candidates doesn't create good government.

Dude, THAT's the delusion!

That your feelings are fact, and that disagreeing with your feelings is a sign of a mental illness.

Is this another "well, I'm speculating, of course?"

Heh - let's just say it's my TDS.

You're under the mistaken notion that I am judging you. I don't care if you vote or not though if you're not informed, I'd prefer you don't vote.

I am? You must be under the mistaken notion that I give a shit what you think of me.

I can't help what you sound like. Why are you such a crab?
That's a very common trait amount Democrats and "not Democrats."

I just moments ago chided a poster who posted an angry screed in bold and italics. I think it was against Trump or his supporters, I'm not sure. Anway, his "location" was "in my happy place."

It reminded me of the lady in "Misery" (the book). She had a place in the woods that she called "my laughing place," but admitted that she mainly screamed and cried there.

Regular people's satisfaction with life depend on things like 'will I meet a person to spend a happy life with?' 'will I get a job I like that isn't a drudge?' 'will my hobby project turn out well, or be a funny story to tell?' 'will I still dig the same things that turned me on as a kid?'

For these "not Democrats" especially, their lives are all about the government. Their only satisfaction is complaining and government provides lots of fodder for that.

They become "not Democrats," even though they are far left in ideology becuase that gives them two major parties to cry about.
