What I learned in the Army in Vietnam was that pretty much everything I had been told in ROTC was mostly false. In 1973 the release of the Pentagon Papers confirmed my suspicions. Me and the draftees learned that whatever the government wants me to believe, most likely the opposite of that is where the truth is.
