Afghanistan's Central Statistics Organization (CSO) stated in 2011 that the total number of Afghans living inside Afghanistan was about 26 million and by 2017 it reached 29.2 million. Of this, 15 million are males and 14.2 million are females.

We have been there long enough. I wonder how the Vietnam Vets feel about this? Not many of them are still alive. We feel the same way about Afghanistan. Get out!!

I thought women didn't need taken care of...
You even called me a sexist for suggesting men should do such.
They don't but the women in Afghan need to, apparently. The Afghan Army were scared shitless, obviously they didn't fight, tramp only left 2500 troops there.

The previous administration drew down from 15,000 troops to 2,500. And even at 15,000, the Afghan government forces were losing ground.

Your OP says we were there long enough, and then you whine Trump drew troops down from 50,000 to 2,500?
We were getting out gracefully until senile Joe took control and fucked everything up.

No tramp screwed things up, he didn't draw down the troop until Jan 2021, right before he left office.

Perhaps if you have advocated reasonably for him to live up to his campaign promises of less intervention, he would or could have, instead of being bogged down with your stupid Russia gate nonsense and massive widespread riots from you people and all the other bat shit crazy shit you people did.

I agree. He should have pulled out first years. BUT, you people gave him a great excuse for not doing more.

Despite the agreement, the Taliban attack Afghan forces in Helmand province, and the U.S. responds with an air strike.

March 10, 2020 — Under pressure from the U.S., Ghani orders the release of 1,500 Taliban prisoners, but at the rate of 100 per day.

Just think. If people like you have advocated under Trump, for withdrawal, people like me would have been happy to work with you in putting pressure on Trump to live up to his campaign promises.

We could have been out, 4 years ago.

Instead, you had RESISTANCE, and RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, and MOSTLY PEACEFUL RIOTS.

Too bad you didn't really care about Peace. Or at least not as much as partisan shit.

So the 10's of thousands of abused, homeless and poor women of this nation wouldn't appreciate a man who thinks it's his duty to protect/provide for them?

The US never had any plans to leave this country.

The military industrial complex set it up such that the Afghanistan military were simply there to support the US.

This is a failure of the Pentagon and congress.

President Sleepy Joe Biden made the perfect choice.

They had 20 years to get their crap together and they didn't. Enough is enough now, time to go home.

He voted for the war and is another neocon. I agree with the other points.
