Honest Gill is actually an actor, Frank Ridley. However, his message is pretty clear and aimed at both parties. Big money special interests and lobbyist have corrupted our government. There is a real organization behind Honest Gill, Represent.US. It's a rather grass roots organization composed of Democrats, Republics, Independents, Tea Party, and whatever that seek to change the way we finance political campaigns and pass anti-corruption laws. I'm frankly not very optimistic about their chances of success because it means getting politicians to vote against their own best interest.
