Ever wonder how your neighbors who have decided to jump from being on unemployment benefits to going on permanent disability seem to be doing just fine? How the fuck can they afford to fucking BBQ almost every night and they always seem to be holding a drink whenever you wave to them in their backyard?
BTW going on PD is as easy as telling your doctor that 'The Covid' has caused you to suffer from anxiety being around people which means you can't go to work anymore.
He/she will sign a form and you send it to the Gov. and Bob's Your Uncle.
Millions of former mentally healthy people are doing just that.
Now you have a couple of hundred bucks less each month BUT you have all fucking day to make money under the table and to sniff around your friend's wives/girlfriends while their partners, being the suckers they are are dutifully commuting to their 'nowheresville shit-jobs.
Before 'The Covid' the Gray Economy was on fire!
All cash all the time!
Check out the local Buy and Sell websites. Farmer's markets, 24/7 'Garage sales'. How much money is being reported to the IRS?

I don't think that anxiety issue will float. My son has that very issue, anxiety to the point that he cannot leave the house, and his hasn't, in more than a year.

But, he has a job. He works from home and makes damn good money. He pays for everything I get him, Venmo. So claiming you can't work with anxiety that prevents you from leaving the house is not an excuse for not working.
