Personal insults demonstrate you really know nothing about the topic

Which economic metrics are a “disaster”?

The price of goods and services is the measuring stick of how people feel Is a good economy. Inflation has subsided since the out control numbers earlier in his presidency, but It is still higher than any time when Trump was in office. Prices soared across the board and have only marginally come back down and in some cases not at all. Housing prices, food prices, services prices, insurance prices, etc. are considerably higher and people have more debt on average. The overall sentiment regarding the state of the economy is low and that is because despite all the metrics, people have less money and can buy fewer things with the money they do have.

Due to COVID and Ukraine, Inflation skyrocketed globally
President Biden took positive action to control inflation and has brought it down to the 3 percent range
Inflation is under control

People “saved” more money when they couldn’t get out to spend it and were given stimulus. No surprise there.

I was showing that the rate of savings is not doing great. But I do agree it is silly to compare anything to the 2020 numbers when the Fed Govt was sending out checks like crazy

I was just saying that the rate has always been low and it is a reflection of our spend vs save culture vs anything else. Basically we are at the same levels as we were for a decade before the pandemic.

Outside of fuel and some food stuffs, prices never come back down after a period of inflation. Wages catch up to them, but the prices do not come back down.

True with building materials, that's why I'm not building. :(
